KK Tax was set up in 2025 to make that detail clear. We explain your options in plain English and, where it helps, work alongside your accountant or solicitor.

Kishan works directly with each client, from the first conversation through to the final advice.

Background

  1. Legal background

    Studied Law at Coventry University before pursuing a career in taxation.

  2. Tax investigations & dispute resolution

    Spent approximately seven years at a Leicestershire tax practice, progressing from a junior role to Head of Tax Investigations. Specialised in HMRC enquiries, complex investigations, dispute resolution and Tax Tribunal proceedings, working closely with barristers on contentious tax matters.

  3. Specialist tax experience

    Subsequently led Tax Investigations and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) advisory work at a UK tax consultancy. Developed extensive experience across Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT), Income Tax and Research & Development (R&D) tax relief.

  4. Founder – KK Tax

    Founded KK Tax in 2025, an independent tax advisory firm providing comprehensive advice across all major areas of UK taxation, including Corporation Tax, SDLT, CGT, IHT and Income Tax. Leads the firm’s advisory work, supporting individuals, businesses and property investors with tax planning, complex transactions, restructuring and HMRC matters.

  • HMRC investigations and disputes

    Supporting clients through HMRC enquiries, including cases that went to the First-tier Tribunal.

  • Property taxes

    Stamp Duty Land Tax (England and Northern Ireland), Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (Scotland) and Land Transaction Tax (Wales).
