We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16329427, with our registered office at 17 Wharf Street South, Leicester, LE1 2AA. What we collect
When you send a consultation request through our website, we collect:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
- the service area you choose, how you would like us to contact you and your preferred date and time;
- anything you write in the message box.
Please give only the information we need to understand your enquiry. Do not send bank details, your Unique Taxpayer Reference or copies of documents through the form.
If you email or call us directly, we receive the information you choose to share in that email or call. Our hosting provider also processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which is needed to deliver the website securely and to protect the form against abuse.
How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
- To keep the website and enquiry form secure and to prevent spam. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately agree to it, and we do not sell it. If you become a client, our engagement letter will explain how we use your information for that work.
Who we share it with
We use the following service providers, who process information on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this website, runs the enquiry form and stores the enquiries you send so that we can read and answer them.
- Resend — delivers the emails generated when you submit the form.
- Microsoft — provides the email service where we receive and store enquiries.
Some of these providers process information in the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We may also share information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to us working together, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep your information for as long as we need to for that work and to meet our legal, regulatory and insurance obligations.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or advertising trackers, so we do not ask for cookie consent. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
We count visits to the website so we can see which pages are useful. The count is anonymous: nothing is stored on your device, we do not keep your IP address, and we record only the page you arrived on, the website you came from, the type of device and the country. It cannot identify you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, your visit is not counted.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To make a request, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
